YONGKI IKHTIYANTO AS MANAGING DIRECTOR APCS

PT Pandu Maha Wana, doing business as Asia Pacific Consulting Solutions (APCS), provides consultancy services throughout Indonesia and countries in the Asia Pacific region for those who desire and commit to change their natural resource management to achieve a higher environmental-social-economy equilibrium through sustainable natural resource management. APCS was established in 2010, with headquarters in Canggu, Bali and a branch office located in Jakarta, Indonesia. We are experts with combined experience of more than 50 years in the fields of forestry, agriculture, fire control, open pit mining, land use planning, natural resource management, verification and sustainability certification and business management. Our main specialization is to provide consulting services in the field of forestry and natural resource management; and we are also experts in sustainability practices, training and capacity building, business management, finance and accounting. We use our knowledge, skill, passion and interest to ensure that we will always provide the best consultancy services to our clients. At APCS, we ‘make it simple’ to prioritize working with our clients to find the best solutions and achieve the results our clients want, while retaining as much of their current internal systems as possible.

 

 

APCS is currently continuing to provide the best quality consulting services to clients and create innovations to help create a balanced utilization of forest products, joyfully welcoming one of the founders and CEO of APCS from 2010 to 2012; Yongki Ikhtiyanto to rejoin the company as Managing Director.

Yongki has been in business development and supply chain of forest products industry for 15 years; started his career with a forestry consulting firm in Bogor in 2002, then joined Rainforest Alliance (RA) as Asia-Pacific Chain-of-Custody Coordinator. His task is to manage the services and portfolio of CoC certification in Asia Pacific region covering 24 different countries in 2005-2010, consisting of various types of forest-based industries; pulp & paper, furniture, moldings, windows & doors, panels & boards, houses & constructions, printing & packing, accessories and souvenirs, flooring, pencils and pencil slats, and veneers. In that position Yongki plays an important role in developing CoC's business in Asia Pacific with fourfold portfolio growth in 3 years, and building the infrastructure and network of RA representative offices in Asia Pacific, including developing and managing qualified CoC auditors in the Asia Pacific region. He is a Senior CoC Auditor and Senior CoC Trainer at RA with extensive knowledge and experience of FSC CoC standard requirements, FSC Controlled Wood, FSC Multi-sites/Group, Project Certification, and trademark use standards.

In 2010, together with Loy Jones, Yongki co-founded Asia Pacific Consulting Solutions. Some clients that he handled at the beginning of APCS establishment are: Scientific Certification Systems (SCS), WWF Indonesia Forest Trade Network, Suarga Villa & Resort, PT Xylo Indah Pratama (supplier of AW Faber-Castell), Sitra Holdings (International) Limited, Unilever Global - Sustainability Department, Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and IKEA Trading Ltd.

Then from 2012 until now rejoining APCS, He is an independent expert/consultant in project management, systems development and information systems management, compliance with national/international forestry certification standards and forest-based industry standards, timber legality, supply chain and responsible supply chain management. Yongki is also an independent auditor for FSC CoC and CW certification, ISO Quality Management System, and RSPO Supply Chain Certification System. Some of the organizations he handles, among others; Indufor Asia Pacific Ltd., APRIL, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, ASMINDO, Japan International Corporation Agency, United Kingdom Climate Change Unit and WWF Indonesia.

With his active reinstatement in APCS board, it is expected that satisfactory achievements that have been achieved can increase and expanding APCS client network that wants to gain maximum benefit from enabling environmental-social-economic equilibrium of forest and natural resource management.
